There are just two months left until the West Coast Franchise Expo and exhibitors are making last minute plans to join the trade show floor! With the economy improving and lending markets thawing, franchising is poised for growth in coming years and franchisors are taking notice.
Driven Brands—parent company to six franchised automotive brands, including Meineke Car Care Centers and Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting—is one of many exhibitors excited to share its growth plans and increase its brand awareness in the West.
“Trade shows are a great way to increase brand awareness and recruit potential investors—both of which will help grow our franchises throughout 2010 and upcoming years,” said Dave Schaefers, senior vice president of franchise development at Driven Brands. “We have had tremendous success on the West Coast—specifically in California—and are certain this year’s WCFE will yield lucrative results as it has in previous years.”
MVF Expositions is pulling out the stops this year to attract quality leads. With WCFE 2009 welcoming the most veterans yet, turnout in 2010 is expected to top those numbers. As a way of saying thank-you, all veterans will receive free admission to WCFE this year with a military ID. MFV Expositions will donate 10 percent of all admissions to California’s Welcome Home—an initiative through the state’s Department of Veterans Affairs that helps veterans obtain employment, education and housing benefits when they return home.
Sponsored by the International Franchise Association (IFA), the expo floor will feature more than 200 exhibitors and countless attendees. There will also be more than 30 information-packed seminars and workshops available, and most of the sessions are free. Whether it’s a fast-food chain or a home improvement franchise, exhibiting at the West Coast Franchise Expo—especially this year—can bring great benefits.
