Joe Dunn Partner - Fisher Zucker LLC

Joe’s practice areas include commercial transactions and litigation focusing on franchise and distribution issues. Joe is a former corporate counsel for AMMCO Transmissions, Inc. and is experienced in regulatory compliance, intellectual property, licensing agreements and employment law. Joe regularly negotiates and drafts intellectual property licensing agreements and other commercial contracts including stock and asset purchase agreements, financing agreements, shareholder and employment agreements and procurement contracts as well as joint venture agreements and other strategic alliances. Joe represents both buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, advises on corporate structure and formation and conducts due diligence on acquisition targets. Joe also regularly registers, maintains and enforces trademarks and copyrights. In addition, Joe represents the firm’s clients in planning, structuring and implementing franchise programs, including drafting disclosure documents, agreements and the subsequent registration and renewals of franchise offerings. Moreover, Joe actively represents the firm’s franchise and general commercial clients in both the federal courts and in private arbitrations, relating to breach of system standards, terminations, employment matters, trademark infringement, restrictive covenants and contract disputes, including securing preliminary and permanent injunctions.

Joe is a frequent speaker at the International Franchise Association’s annual legal symposium and other IFA events. Joe was named a Franchise Times Legal Eagle from 2013-2015, a Rising Star in Philadelphia Magazine’s SuperLawyers from 2005 – 2010 and a Philadelphia SuperLawyer from 2012 through 2015.
