Lizbeth Rodriquez Business Advisor - LaGuardia Community College SBDC

Lizbeth A. Rodriguez is Business Advisor with LaGuardia Community College SBDC (Small Business Development Center). Her role in the SBDC includes assisting small business owners in Marketing and Strategic Planning focusing mainly on the Hispanic business community. Also, she led the Center’s SBA Disaster Resiliency Program assisting business owners affected by Hurricane Sandy. In addition, Ms. Rodriguez has been assisting entrepreneurs from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative in their marketing strategies, planning, designing customer experience through social media enablement, sales and customer care processes.

Ms. Rodriguez’s career has spanned for over two decades in a number of key executive roles at some of the top Multinational advertising and marketing agencies, such as BBDO. Her career exposed her in all aspects of business & marketing strategy, research, campaign architecture, channel operations design, deployment and management, project management and business & marketing performance analysis.

Among her previous positions, Lizbeth has served as Corporate Marketing Director for Impremedia, a California/New York based media publishing company. Through her own firm, One Marketing Consulting Group, she has collaborated as pro bono professional providing marketing advise to various nonprofit and philanthropic organizations in New York City. She loves to collaborate and share her own journey as an entrepreneur with her “start-up business fellows.”

Ms. Rodriguez holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico and earned her Master of Arts Degree in Marketing from Michigan State University.
