Wayland is the Real Estate Manager for Great Clips in the Northeast. The Northeast region has an opportunity to develop over 1000 locations in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island Massachusetts, West Virginia, Ohio, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. Great Clips has over 4100 units and is the only Billion dollar brand in the industry. Previously, Wayland served for last 25 years as Director of Leasing and Franchise sales for Subway Development of CT and NY. Wayland was responsible for leasing and Franchise sales in Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and Litchfield Counties. He oversaw development for the region for over 650 locations. Wayland Benbow was also in charge of leasing and marketing for the CT Service Plazas These 23 Service Plaza Locations along Connecticut’s Highways were a part of a $180+ million dollar Public-Private Partnership with the State of Connecticut. Wayland also owns 4 Subway locations in Vermont and a farm to table café Wayland, a University of Connecticut graduate, lives in Durham, CT with his wife and three daughters.
