Ryan Cunningham President - Javelin Solutions

Ryan Cunningham is the Founder and President of the national firm Javelin Solutions as well as a licensed broker in the State of Colorado. Ryan achieved his degree in Business Economics from Colorado College as well as his M.B.A. from the University of Denver.

Prior to starting his own company, Ryan spent over 20 years at the world’s largest brokerage firm, Jones Lang LaSalle. While at Jones Lang LaSalle, Ryan volunteered to build a retail division to support the needs of their clients. Ryan led a group of project managers to develop a model focused on representing the interest of the client, of which included training and managing the project management team as well as the best-of-class local brokers. After completing hundreds of projects for Sprint, Circle K Convenience Stores, and Bank of America branches, Ryan decided to carry his service model over into the Franchise industry. From years of experience and observation, Ryan believed that Franchisors needed a more effective system to support the site selection process for their Franchisees; with Franchisors outsourcing their Real Estate to Javelin, they would have the advantage over competing franchises by offering personal and world-class services to their new Franchisees. In the past 10 years, Javelin has experienced consistent growth in its representation of hundreds of Franchisees across the country, building a local network and personal relationship with over 500 qualified brokers while helping Franchisors grow their national footprint with high-performing units.

Ryan is an active member of the International Franchise Association and also serves as the second chair of the Supplier Forum Advisory Board and sits on the Membership and FranPAC Committees of the IFA. Ryan actively sponsors and leads Round Table discussions at varying conferences and speaks regularly at conventions, including the International Franchise Association Annual Conference, the International Council of Shopping Center’s Real Estate Convention, and the Franchise Update’s Multi-Unit Conference. In addition to the aforementioned, Ryan is an annual sponsor at the Franchise Times’ Finance & Growth Conference, Franchise Leadership and Development Conference, Restaurant Finance and Development Conference, the Dealmaker’s Summit, and IFA’s Public Affairs Conference. Ryan has been a featured speaker at Franchise Business Network events throughout the country, an expert site selection panelist during the International Franchise Association Annual Conference, has moderated the franchising panel at the International Council of Shopping Center’s Real Estate Convention, and is a regular published contributor to Franchise Times, Franchising World, and the Restaurant Finance Monitor.

As the President of Javelin, Ryan oversees the day-to-day projects that his staff manages, conducts a high-level Lease review process including Lease review calls with clients, facilitates Lease renegotiations, and manages accounts for Expedia CruiseShipCenters, Togo’s Restaurants, Woodhouse Day Spas, UFC Gym, and Intelligent Office.

While not at work, Ryan spends his free time playing tennis, polo, riding horses, watching soccer, and traveling with his wife and twin daughters.
