Tom Kaiser Assistant Editor - Franchise Times

Tom is associate editor of Franchise Times. Franchise Times magazine is the news and information source for franchising, which is read by the who’s who of franchising, including growth-minded franchisors and franchisees, and the consultants and advisors who help them succeed. Franchise Times is the only independent, unbiased news source in franchising and devotes more resources to franchise coverage than anyone else.

Tom is also the deputy editor of Food On Demand, a new media project for restaurateurs, foodservice professionals, delivery providers and suppliers profiting at the intersection of food, mobility and technology. Its mission is to be the voice of and deliver news to an innovative industry bringing better food to more people.

Prior to joining Franchise Times in 2014, Tom was a consumer and business-to-business editor in the powersports industry, writing for a range of titles including ATV Magazine, Snow Goer, Powersports Business, Boating Industry and Camping Life. His duties included frequent travels to ride snowmobiles and ATVs in challenging environments, in-depth interviews with engineers, product planners and CEOs, and developing personal relationships with enthusiasts, guides and professional riders across North America.

Tom attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis where he graduated with a B.A. in journalism and mass communication in 2004.
