As franchising continues to grow within the United States and around the world, the time is ripe for domestic and international franchisors to explore expansion. This track will explain the crucial business and legal considerations that may affect where and when franchisors should go and how to operate most effectively including important cultural considerations about international franchising.

Non-U.S. Franchisors: Entering the USA

For the foreign franchisor that has enjoyed success in their domestic region and is now interested in expanding their franchising program into the United States. The focus will be on the legal, structural, financial, and cross-cultural issues in developing a franchising business plan and the strategy for entering the U. S. market.
